Purpose of the Role

You will manage a team across consulting and compliance, driving the Private Client Tax service, managing high‑net‑worth individuals, and generating new business through innovative approaches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of tailored tax consultancy services to high‑net‑worth individuals, ensuring a comprehensive wealth planning approach.
  • Oversee personal tax compliance, trust taxation, and strategic advisory projects.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing proactive advice on tax legislation changes.
  • Collaborate with the tax team to ensure timely and accurate completion of client assignments.
  • Proactively seek and generate new business opportunities.
  • Take a lead role in promoting and marketing the firm’s services to new and existing clients.
  • Contribute to the development of new services within Private Client Tax.
  • Manage and mentor a team of professionals across consulting and compliance.
  • Drive a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Private Tax Expertise: Inheritance Tax, Trusts, intergenerational planning, CGT, residence, domicile.
  • Leadership: Experience motivating teams in an innovative, collaborative environment.
  • Business Development: Proven ability to generate new business and develop long‑term client relationships.
  • High Net Worth Client Management: Extensive experience advising high‑net‑worth clients on wealth planning and personal tax matters.
