Location: Old Colwyn (with home-working flexibility)
Hours: Full-time (job share considered)
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
As Development & Operations Director, you'll play a key role in managing day-to-day operations
and driving growth. Responsibilities include:
Leading fundraising and income generation strategies
Managing finance, HR, governance, and compliance
Supporting creative programmes and organisational sustainability
What We're Looking For
Senior management experience (3+ years)
Strong financial and organisational skills
Proven success in fundraising and grant applications
Passion for arts, inclusion, and community

3+ years in senior management, arts administration, or charity operations
Proven success in fundraising, grant applications, and income generation
Strong financial management and budgeting skills
Excellent communication, IT skills, and organisational ability
Commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and creative practice
Desirable: Knowledge of Arts Council Wales, BFI funding, charity compliance, and Welsh language skills.
Fundraising & Grant Writing - identify opportunities, write bids, manage funder relationships
Financial Management - budgets, cash flow, reporting
Governance & Compliance - charity law, GDPR, safeguarding
Operations & Sustainability - policy development, venue management
Represent TAPE at arts events, networking, and partnership meetings
