Location: Hybrid and Didsbury, Manchester

Salary: up to £32,966

Full time 35 hours per week / Permanent

Agile working with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office (Fully office-based throughout the training period)

The Role

We are seeking a passionate Sustainability Coordinator to help champion our sustainability agenda. You will work within the Asset and Sustainability team to support the delivery of projects that lower carbon emissions, improve energy efficiency, and help our customers reduce their energy costs. This will also include ensuring Southway maximises grant funding opportunities. You will support the delivery of our environmental targets and help embed sustainability in everything we do. This is a crucial coordination role focused on ensuring all documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements and funding are achieved throughout the lifecycle of retrofit projects.

Candidates
  • Proactive and knowledgeable sustainability professional with experience in delivering environmental or energy efficiency projects.
  • Passion for making a difference in people's lives and the environment.
  • Experience in information coordination, ideally within sectors such as construction, energy efficiency, housing, or compliance in a customer‑focused organisation.
  • Knowledge of retrofit principles and the PAS 2035 framework, or experience with energy efficiency funding schemes (like SHDF, Warm Homes, ECO, or LAD) is desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, reliability, accountability for personal targets, and good organisational and time management skill to meet deadlines and deliver results.
