Overview

HS2, Britain’s new high-speed railway is at peak construction. Balfour Beatty VINCI is HS2’s construction partner in the Midlands, responsible for delivering 90km of the route, from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.

Location

Location: Based in Coventry - the South Region comprises Sublots 2B, 2A and 1A Long Itchington Wood. It stretches for approximately 39.2km from Finham Brook to Southam through a mixture of rural and suburban landscapes

Role Responsibilities

• Working as part of the Surveying Team in various engineering survey activities, tasks will vary but will include engineering control, topographic surveys, engineering surveying and setting out.
• Collecting data to inform onsite records such as diaries, survey and accurate daily site notes.
• Supporting Health & Safety and Sustainability initiatives within the surveying department.
• Passionate to learn and develop within the Surveying Team.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to form effective working relationships with the wider project team.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Excel.
• Good spatial awareness and the ability to visualise objects and layouts in 3D.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
