A leading care provider in Hastings is looking for a Support Worker for waking nights to join their compassionate team. Responsibilities include supporting residents with daily activities and encouraging independent living. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This position offers a starting wage of £12.60 per hour along with generous benefits including annual leave and professional development opportunities.
We are looking to recruit a Support Worker waking nights to join our team.
Shift Patterns: 12 hour shifts, 36 hours per week, 20:00 – 08:00.
£12.60 per hour.
Bishops Lodge is located in the historic town of Hastings, East Sussex. It offers residential support for six males and females who have Prader‑Willi syndrome (PWS). We are off a main road, close to Alexandra Park.

It would be ideal if you have previous experience in a similar role. However, whilst experience is valuable, we are looking for individuals who display the right values and behaviours to make a difference to people’s lives. You should be keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people we support.

As a Support Worker, you will assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertake routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of our residents and tenants. You will provide support with day‑to‑day activities whilst encouraging and promoting independent living. Through practical and emotional support, you will help people reach their potential and make a positive difference to their lives.
