Day Support Worker – Fairlight – £13.11 ph

Typical shifts are day, morning, evening, weekdays and weekends.

As a support worker you will help people to gain more independence in their daily lives, working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people. You will teach new life skills, assist with personal care, encourage access to local communities, socialise and organise activities. This role is for those who want to make a difference and help individuals build confidence and independence.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care and daily activities.
  • Support independence and life skills development.
  • Facilitate participation in community activities (e.g., lunch clubs, cinema, bowling).
  • Follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
  • Work collaboratively with the team.
Qualifications & Preferences
  • Full UK driving licence preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with clients who have epilepsy and learning disabilities.
  • Resilient, flexible and composed approach.
  • Experience following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
