Job summary

A leading defense technology company is seeking a Support and Test Technician in Tewkesbury. The role involves assembling and testing products, ensuring quality during production, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates should have relevant experience in electronic or electro-mechanical assembly, knowledge of electronic testing principles, and be familiar with continuous improvement methods like Lean or Six Sigma. This position requires the ability to obtain security clearance and meet UK nationality requirements.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in electronic/electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Competent in the use of hand tools and PCB repair.
  • Experience working in a test environment and knowledge of electronic principles.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test L3Harris product ranges according to build/test instructions.
  • Setup manual and ATE test sites as per PTS instructions.
  • Provide timely and accurate data for tasks undertaken.
  • Maintain operational standards and cleanliness of test sites.
