Job Overview

Opus Teach, a Suffolk County Council‑owned agency, is recruiting Supply Teachers for a range of schools across Suffolk. Temporary, ad‑hoc or daily supply positions available on a full or part‑time basis.

Location: Various locations across Suffolk

Hours: Full or part time

Contract: Temporary, Ad‑hoc, Daily Supply

About Opus Teach

We operate from 7am‑5pm, Monday‑Friday, with a 24/7 online booking system. Our process prioritises safeguarding and quality, with candidates interviewed remotely via Microsoft Teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for the learning and progress of all students in allocated classes, ensuring equality of opportunity for all.
  • Treat students with dignity, build relationships based on mutual respect, and observe appropriate professional boundaries.
  • Be responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in pupils’ work and conduct during lessons.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with learners, staff, parents/carers, governors and external agencies for the best interests of students.
  • Take responsibility for safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.
What You’ll Need
  • Qualified Teacher Status or a recognised equivalent qualification.
  • Successful teaching experience.
  • A passion for teaching and the ability to deliver the best teaching standards.
  • The ability to teach using a wide variety of strategies to maximise achievement for all students.
