• Experienced in the analysis, design, and assessment of all types of highway structures
• Strong analytical andproblem solvingskills and a good understanding of structural behaviour.
• Able to conduct structural analyses to assess the load-carrying capacity of bridgesin accordance withDMRB standards.
• Able to use behavioural understanding and experience to understand why structures may be performing better than assessments suggest.
• Professional membership or demonstrable progress towards this
• A full UK driving licence
• Relevant design software/CAD/Civils 3D where appropriate
• Experience of working on a wide range of bridge types including masonry arches, prestressed and post tensioned concrete, andvarious typesof steel bridges
• Experience of using LUSAS and ARCHIE-M
