An exceptional opportunity is available for a Structural Engineer in Derby. This role will open up the opportunity for you to work alongside some exceptional talent and be involved in the structural design andtechnical delivery on a fantastic range of projects across the buildings structures sector.
The role of Structural Engineer is ideally suited to a structural engineer who has gained prior experience associated with the "built-environment" and who is ideally passionate to continue in their growth and development progressing towards becoming a Chartered Structural Engineer.
This is an excellent time to be joining their highly skilled Structures Team. With new and exciting projects recentlyprocured for Clients throughout the East Midlands and United Kingdom, you can expect to work on design schemes acrosseducation, health, industrial, commercial and housing. Designs range predominantly from large scale projects throughto smaller housing schemes and range in construction value from £250,000 to £45M. Many projects are undertaken to BIM level 2.
The successful applicant will possessstrong analytical skills and be qualified to Bachelor or Master degree level in Civil or Structural Engineering (or other relevant subject).
Personal attributes are vitaland the successful candidate will need to possess a strong team work ethic but also be self motivated to work individually and assist with the management of less experienced members of the team.
Software wise AutoCAD, TEDDS and preferably TEKLA are softwares that will be used on a daily basis.
