Strategy & Performance Consultant – Digital & Transformation

Location: Swindon / Wiltshire, London / Greater London, Glasgow / Glasgow City. Salary: From £26,000 per annum. Contract: Permanent (Full Time). Reference: 1788. Closing Date: 21 January 2026.

Nationwide’s procurement function is undergoing a significant and successful transformation, ensuring we deliver the best possible outcomes for Nationwide and our Members. Our operating model combines category alignment with strong business partnering, focused on achieving business and member value enabled by our Strategy & Performance team.

Responsibilities

You will play a key role in our Procurement & Strategy Team, ensuring that our procurement systems and processes are fit‑for‑purpose. Your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting system user access management and providing access to Coupa (our Source to Pay platform).
  • Assisting with Coupa Release Management, particularly regression testing processes.
  • Managing incident resolution across Procurement and maintaining/updating system configurations to accommodate new features and updates.
  • Offering guidance to operational teams on issues and incidents, and providing data management support.
  • Executing minor changes to procurement systems and processes under guidance from senior team members.
Qualifications
  • Able to demonstrate strong problem‑solving and investigative skills.
  • Detail‑oriented with confidence working with numbers and large volumes of data.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time‑management skills with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support colleagues.
  • Experience in an administrative role with proven Microsoft Office skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to support and embrace change as the department evolves.

Hybrid Working

We offer hybrid working arrangements. For this role you will spend at least two days per week at the office, or 40 % of your working time if part‑time. Your office location will be London, Swindon or Glasgow. We support flexible working where possible.
