Qualifications

  • Experience working in a business management role within a social care or safeguarding environment.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding adults legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the business functions of the Safeguarding Adults Board.
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate production of reports, papers and other documentation.
  • Coordinating meetings, including agenda setting and minute taking.
  • Developing procedures and structures to oversee the quality of safeguarding practice.
  • Collaborating with partner organisations to share information and drive forward safeguarding priorities.
  • Supporting the Service Manager in managing the safeguarding agenda.
  • Collaborating with other strategic partnerships to align Board priorities.
