Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech & Language Pathologist to join our team on a part-time basis at Elk Ridge School. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to students in grades 1 and 2, helping them improve their communication skills and overall quality of life. This position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on student development.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities of students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in one-on-one and group settings.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, occupational therapists, and families, to support student needs.
  • Educate students and their families on communication strategies and techniques to enhance progress.
  • Stay current with best practices in speech and language pathology through ongoing professional development.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current PA state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
