About The Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Analyst to join our Specialist Mortgages division at Hampshire Trust Bank. You’ll play a key role in supporting operational efficiency, ensuring data integrity, and driving continuous improvement across our processes. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll provide analytical insights, streamline workflows, and help deliver positive customer outcomes in a growing and ambitious team.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a point of contact for operational queries on data and processes
- Create and maintain detailed process maps and SOPs
- Identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements
- Produce operational performance reports and dashboards
- Track and report KPIs related to service operations
- Monitor, validate, and maintain data accuracy across core systems
- Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from stakeholders
- Contribute to small‑change initiatives and operational improvements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of change outcomes
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong Excel and SQL skills; familiarity with BI tools
- Understanding of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
- Analytical and problem‑solving mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently with initiative and self‑motivation
- Adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, data analytics or related field is a plus
- Familiarity with mortgage banking concepts and regulations is a plus
