About The Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Analyst to join our Specialist Mortgages division at Hampshire Trust Bank. You’ll play a key role in supporting operational efficiency, ensuring data integrity, and driving continuous improvement across our processes. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll provide analytical insights, streamline workflows, and help deliver positive customer outcomes in a growing and ambitious team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a point of contact for operational queries on data and processes
  • Create and maintain detailed process maps and SOPs
  • Identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements
  • Produce operational performance reports and dashboards
  • Track and report KPIs related to service operations
  • Monitor, validate, and maintain data accuracy across core systems
  • Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from stakeholders
  • Contribute to small‑change initiatives and operational improvements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of change outcomes
Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong Excel and SQL skills; familiarity with BI tools
  • Understanding of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Analytical and problem‑solving mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work independently with initiative and self‑motivation
  • Adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, data analytics or related field is a plus
  • Familiarity with mortgage banking concepts and regulations is a plus
