Overview

Strong sous chef required for a busy establishment near Inverness

I am looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to take over the Sous Chef role in this friendly kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the team, as well as developing the menu and preparing and cooking quality fresh food in a busy environment whilst maintaining a high standard of food hygiene.
• Fresh food cooked from scratch using local ingredients where possible. The menu has a range of pub classics as well as a mix of modern Scottish dishes.

Qualifications / Skills

• Previous experience as a sous chef, or as CdP looking for the next step up.
• A positive, welcoming attitude and good communication skills
• Commitment to delivering a high level of cooking and preparation.
• Excellent personal presentation standards.
• Ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team

Details

• Salary: £35,000 per annum
• Hours: 4 days from 7 per week
• Start Date: May 2025
• Location: near Inverness
