Position

Software Engineer – Payments & Incentives Team, London Office. Full‑time. The Payments & Incentives team is innovating solutions to integrate efficient payment and billing processes and reward programs into our platform.

Responsibilities
  • Define, code, test, and deploy software focused on process simplification and automation.
  • Work directly with internal customers and other business stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to product definitions and system and solution design.
  • Follow the engineering best practices as defined by the team and organization, from testing, deployment, documentation, operating services, and code quality.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Participate in a team‑wide on‑call rotation.
Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience working as a Software Engineer.
  • Computer Science degree or equivalent experience. Non‑traditional training is welcome.
  • Strong core Java skills (knowledge of Go highly desirable).
  • Experience designing and implementing APIs and microservices.
  • Understanding of the full software development life cycle and related tools in an Agile environment.
Bonus Points
  • Experience with JavaScript and front‑end technologies such as React, Redux, Redux‑Saga, Hooks, TypeScript, ES6, SASS.
  • Experience with cloud technology (AWS or similar).
  • Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and messaging technologies (Kafka, SQS).
