A major digital insurance provider is looking for a Software Developer to maintain and enhance live pricing code within their Alternative Pricing Department. This role involves managing deployments and developing tools to ensure code effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess strong Python skills and the ability to work independently, with great attention to detail. The position supports hybrid working, requiring occasional onsite presence in Bexhill or Leicester.

Working as part of the Data and MI team within the Alternative Pricing Department (APP), you will maintain, design and enhance our live pricing code. This code runs thousands of times a day to provide live quotes to prospective customers online. Accuracy and attention to detail are extremely important, as is the ability to code confidently. The role involves managing multiple deployments per month and developing tools and reports to ensure the code achieves the desired business effect. The overall aim is to support the growth plans for Advantage Insurance and Hastings Direct, and differentiate us by being data and analytics leaders in the UK general insurance market.
