A prominent sports organization in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Soft Tissue Therapist to provide proactive treatment for its players. The role involves conducting thorough assessments and crafting individualized treatment plans, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team. Ideal candidates will have qualifications in Sports Massage and Sports Therapy, along with significant experience in a sports environment. Based at our world-class facility at Bodymoor Heath Training Ground, we are looking for an experienced Soft Tissue Therapist with a passion and expertise in providing proactive treatment, reducing injury risk and ultimately maintaining our players peak performance.
You will be responsible for providing evidence-based soft tissue therapy for the players including conducting thorough assessments of soft tissue injuries and providing individualised treatment plans with clear clinical reasoning.

You will play a vital role in our multi-disciplinary working collaboratively with the Performance Director, Head of Medical Services and Head Physiotherapist.
To be considered for this role, you will need to hold the following qualifications:
You will need to have previous, significant experience in delivering soft-tissue therapy in an elite sports environment, ideally in football and have experience in using instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, such as TECAR.
We are looking for someone who is a concise, assertive and effective communicator and can build relationships with a range of stakeholders including the wider multi-disciplinary team and our players. You will need to be organised with a proactive, calm and positive attitude and be comfortable in working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
You will need to be available to work flexibly including evenings, weekends and matchdays and be available to travel to away matches on a rota basis.
