Social Worker- Fostering Support Team - Gloucestershire - £35ph

  • Job Title: Social Worker

About the Role:

In this role, you will support and supervise foster carers to ensure they provide the highest quality care for vulnerable children in line with bébé care plans. Safeguarding is at the heart of our work, and you will play a key part in ensuring fostering households meet the National Minimum Standards for Fostering.

Our team currently supervises 190 fostering households, delivers regular support groups, and contributes to the training and development of foster carers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision, guidance, and support to foster carers.
  • Ensure carers meet required fostering standards and deliver safe, effective care.
  • Manage a varied caseload and complete annual foster carer reviews.
  • Support the identification and matching of placements for children.
  • Contribute to support groups and foster carer training. Work collaboratively within a busy but welcoming team environment.
