Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Team within the Children’s Division in North Somerset. This ongoing locum role offers flexible part-time or full-time hours and the chance to make a meaningful difference to children and families across the region. Role Responsibilities

Deliver Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Review (APIR) to support children in need and ensure their safety and wellbeing.

Manage a caseload of approximately 15 family cases, acting as a link professional and providing consultancy to schools, Children’s Centres, and other settings.

Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to drive positive outcomes for children and their families.

Maintain accurate and timely child records using the Integrated Children’s System.

Commit to ongoing development through post-qualifying training and reflective supervision.
