Job description
About the job

At IOLLA we're looking for a Social Media Content Creator to join our team.

We’re looking for a confident, creative Social Content Creator who not only lives and breathes digital culture, but understands the strategy behind it: how to plan content that meets business goals, analyse what resonates, and interpret customer behaviour across platforms to drive meaningful results.

If you love being behind (and in front of) the camera, know what’s trending before it trends, and want to help build a social presence that feels modern, expressive and commercially effective - this is the role for you.

What you’ll do
  • Capture imagery and video across showrooms, HQ, campaigns, and product drops, ensuring consistent brand quality.

  • Film and edit high-quality short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories, YouTube Shorts and in-showroom digital screens.

  • Host and present videos with confidence: from try‑ons and eyewear styling to behind‑the‑scenes and product stories.

  • Capture a mix of fast‑reactive and planned campaign still and video content across showrooms, HQ and photoshoots.

  • Ensure all content ladders up to broader brand and behavioural insights: what customers want to see, how they shop, and what drives action.

  • Plan, schedule & run social channels.

    • Build weekly social calendars aligned with the wider creative and campaign calendar, delivering the right content at the right time based on audience behaviour and marketing priorities.

    • Schedule content and ensure smooth, consistent, on‑time delivery across all channels.

    • Write engaging captions, CTAs and social copy rooted in brand tone and platform‑specific customer expectations.

    • Use insights to recommend where to increase, reduce or shift content volume, format or messaging.

  • Understand customer behaviour & measure performance.

    • Analyse platform analytics to understand what content resonates, who engages with us, and how customers move from discovery to engagement to consideration.

    • Track growth, engagement and conversion signals to inform future content decisions.

    • Identify opportunities for optimisation, new content pillars, storytelling angles, and untapped audiences.

    • Share learnings with the wider team to help shape cross‑channel creative direction.

  • Spot trends & drive growth.

    • Identify emerging cultural moments, editing styles, storytelling formats and platform behaviours and act on them quickly.

    • Test new content formats, series and concepts, measuring what adds value and what to refine or retire.

    • Bring creative ideas that make IOLLA feel relevant, entertaining and unmissable in the feed.

  • Collaborate & support wider content.

    • Work closely with the creative team to ensure our social content reflects IOLLA’s evolving brand identity.

    • Support influencer and ambassador capture, ensuring assets are socially relevant and on‑brand.

    • Create assets that can be adapted for ads, email or web, ensuring visual and narrative consistency across touchpoints.

About you
  • You’re passionate about TikTok, Instagram and digital culture - you get the platforms and understand how they evolve.

  • You’re confident filming and editing (mobile‑first), and you’re comfortable stepping in front of the camera.

  • You’re proactive, curious and creatively driven, with a strong eye for visual storytelling.

  • You’re organised, love planning content ahead, and stay flexible for reactive moments.

  • Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar editing tools is a bonus.

What you’ll get
  • A competitive salary based on experience
  • Complimentary eyewear
  • A generous friends and family discount
  • Access to our Retail Trust benefits platform
  • Free on‑site parking at our HQ
  • The chance to help shape an ambitious, creative brand during an exciting period of transformation
