A local city council is seeking a Senior Planning Technical Support Officer to deliver high-quality support and contribute to city growth initiatives. The planning service area within Coventry City Council supports the growth of the city and manages development from inception to delivery. As a high‑performing planning department we deal with a wide range of applications. We are dynamic, forward‑thinking, and always striving to improve our service.
The service is wide and varied, inclusive of Development Management and Planning Policy teams, and encompasses a number of related specialisms focused on delivering a city for those wishing to live and work here: Planning, Ecology, Trees and Landscape, Urban Design, Conservation, Archaeology, and Environmental Protection.
We are looking for a Senior Planning Technical Support Officer to deliver a high‑quality customer service in a way that contributes to the achievement of the City Council’s vision and objectives for a growing and sustainable city.
