Forming part of the Site Senior Leadership Team, the Senior Manager, Manufacturing Engineering will lead a team of skilled Manufacturing and Project Engineers in a high volume, highly invested medical device manufacturing facility operating in a cleanroom environment. The primary objective of this role is to drive process optimisation that improves both capacity and capability as measured across the day‑to‑day dimensions of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity (cost). The role will also lead the delivery of key capacity replacement, expansion or optimisation projects on time, within scope, and to budget. Additionally, the Manufacturing Engineering Team will adopt leadership of escalated instances of interruption in good quality output, utilizing advanced problem solving tools in concert with expert technical skills to return manufacturing capability to standard. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring both technical expertise and the ability to develop capability within a highly skilled team. The role will work collaboratively alongside the Senior Manager Engineering Reliability, Product Engineering Leader, QARA functions, and other members of the Site Senior Leadership Team to meet the needs of our customers, Associates and Shareholders by delivering good quality medical products & membranes in a safe and productive manner.
