Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Maintain site services equipment and compliance with legislation.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of site plant.
  • Identify and resolve faults across systems.
  • Support refrigeration systems and perform reactive maintenance.
  • Liaise with external contractors to ensure compliance.
  • Work at height following safety protocols.

Job Summary

You will be required to maintain the site services equipment, service contracts, and compliance to legislation.

Site services covers refrigeration, compressed air, hot and cold water, vacuum system, HVAC and effluent treatment plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine inspections and maintenance of site plant and equipment.
  • Proactively identify and resolve faults across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Support ammonia-cooled refrigeration systems.
  • Respond to breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance.
  • Liaise with external contractors, ensuring compliance with site safety and operational standards.
  • Work at height as required, following all safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and contractor activities.
  • Ensure compliance with site service standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to minimise downtime and improve reliability.
  • Engage with contractors to ensure RAMS, insurance and training documents are accurate prior to permit to work issue. Issue permits to work to contractors and in house team.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in site services or maintenance engineering.
  • Strong technical knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing disciplines.
  • Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems (training can be provided).
  • Experience dealing with contractors and managing third‑party works.
  • Comfortable working at height (Warehouse systems and Cooling Towers, etc.).
  • Understanding of site service compliance and health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Experience using SAP CMMS or similar maintenance management systems.
  • Willingness to work split shifts (earlies and lates).
