Site Manager - Haverfordwest High VC School

Salary: Grade 6 - £28,142 - £31,022

Haverfordwest High VC School is seeking to appoint a Site Manager. The successful candidate will work in an environment that promotes excellence, inclusion and high expectations.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Managing and coordinating a site management team, including the cleaning team, to provide a high quality service and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Managing maintenance requirements of the school.
  • Managing the security of the school by ensuring caretaking staff adhere to security procedures.
  • Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and adults that you are responsible for or come into contact with.

Required experience and skills:

  • Previous experience of site and personnel management.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of health, safety and security procedures in an educational setting.
  • Understanding of safeguarding principles and the ability to promote the welfare of students.

The role requires a DBS disclosure check and a right to work in the UK. Applicants who require a Skilled Worker visa are not currently accepted. Welsh language skills are desirable.
