Job summary

A large family-run car retailer group in the UK is seeking a talented Service Advisor to join their Aftersales team. In this role, you will handle customer interactions, assist with technical issues, and manage vehicle bookings, all while providing exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and be IT literate, with knowledge of Kerridge as a plus. This position offers a competitive salary of £30,000 and an OTE of £34,800, alongside various employee benefits, including 33 days of annual leave.

Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Service Advisor to join the Aftersales team at our Lloyd Land Rover Houghton-Le-Spring Service Centre.

Salary: £30,000 with OTE of £34,800

Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:30

Role responsibilities:

  • Dealing with all customers in a professional, prompt and courteous manner, portraying a positive first impression of the Service Department.
  • Advising on technical queries/issues.
  • Booking vehicles into the department for work to be carried out, informing customers of the progress of their vehicle.
  • Sell customer repairs/parts etc., and finalising the invoice on completion.

An ideal Service Advisor will hold the following skills and experiences:

  • Motivated, with a proactive approach to customer service.
  • Enjoy the challenge of influencing the success of the Service department.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be well presented.
  • Must be IT literate, and a working knowledge of Kerridge would be advantageous.
