Senior Veterinary Surgeon – Kingswinford

Harrison Family Vets are a family owned, independent group of busy, growing clinics providing pet health care that is second to none.

We are recruiting for a Senior Vet to help lead our practice in Kingswinford, Dudley. We offer a modern, highly equipped clinic with a salary of up to £75,000, a 4-day week, and a comprehensive benefits package including generous CPD, time off, private medical insurance, relocation support, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the clinical team to drive high clinical quality and create organised, efficient workflows throughout the clinic.
  • Work within a 2-vet team, supported by 6 RVNs, 1 VCA and 4 front-of-house care co-ordinators in a busy 4-year-old clinic with a varied caseload.
  • Balance consulting and theatre work with dedicated administration time; consults are 15 minutes long; 1:3 Saturday mornings (08:30–13:00) as the team grows.
  • Attend to leadership duties and participate in the practice’s leadership development programme.
  • Support a positive, pet-centric practice environment and contribute to ongoing growth and development within the team.
Requirements
  • Competent veterinarian with a minimum of five years’ small animal (SA) experience.
  • Interest in developing leadership and management capabilities.
  • Strong surgical and medical competencies with experience leading and managing a clinical team.
