Job description
Senior .NET Developer - Omagh (Hybrid)
Up to £60,000 (depending on experience)

MCS Group is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a growing technology company in Omagh to recruit a Senior .NET Developer. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the next major greenfield software build, joining a small but highly capable team working on cutting‑edge projects with modern cloud technologies.

The Opportunity

This role will see you take ownership of new feature development and system builds across a variety of client solutions from architecture design through to deployment. You'll work closely with a tight‑knit technical team in an agile environment, helping shape the direction of a project that's poised to move into an exciting delivery phase.

You'll be hands‑on across the full development lifecycle, bringing your experience in .NET Core, C#, and Azure to deliver robust, scalable solutions. The role offers autonomy, technical challenge, and the chance to directly influence architecture, tools, and integrations – including opportunities to explore AI‑powered and modern web technologies.

The Role
  • Develop and maintain scalable applications using .NET Core/C# and modern architectural principles.

  • Contribute to system design, development, and deployment in a cloud‑based (Azure) environment.

  • Work on greenfield builds, helping to define and implement best practices.

  • Collaborate closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver clean, efficient solutions.

  • Participate in code reviews, mentor junior team members, and champion technical quality across the team.

About You
  • Experienced .NET Developer, ideally in a senior capacity.

  • Proven background delivering end‑to‑end solutions in an agile environment.

  • Strong understanding of modern development practices – version control, CI/CD, testing, and clean coding principles.

  • React and TypeScript experience is advantageous
  • Experience (or strong interest) in Azure cloud services and modern web integrations.

  • A proactive problem‑solver who enjoys autonomy and variety in their work.

The Package
  • Salary: Up to £60,000, depending on experience.

  • Bonus & Pension Scheme.

  • Hybrid working – 2 days in the Omagh office each week.

  • Opportunity to shape a brand‑new product build from the ground up.

  • Collaborative, close‑knit team with real technical influence and growth potential.

If you're a seasoned .NET Developer looking for your next challenge and want to be part of a small, forward‑thinking team working on something exciting and meaningful – we'd love to hear from you.
