About the Role:

Grade Level (for internal use): 11

The Team:

This candidate will be joining a high performing sponsorship team, brimming with energy and passion for delivering quality products. The candidate will be responsible for selling sponsorship packages, exhibition space, advertisement and digital products across a global portfolio of industry leading conferences, magazines, training courses and media platforms. Each event is developed by a team of conference professionals who ensure our events deliver world class content and offer a commercial platform for industry players in these fast-moving sectors.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Ability to close sales and grow accounts across flagship products, new launches and digital solutions
  • Manage and implement the Sponsorship deliverables according to the contracts
  • Work with the research team to gain a comprehensive understanding of the target audience/prospects for your portfolio of products
  • Work directly with the Researchers and Marketing teams to generate sales leads, follow a sales campaign and strategy, as well as research the market to generate/qualify new leads
  • Attend competitor trade shows and S&P events – international travel required
  • Develop new products, packages and revenue streams

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Strong, proven seller of high value sponsorship packages. Minimum 4 years sponsorship sales selling B2B, senior level business conferences
  • Clear, demonstrable understanding of the sales process, and able to build and maintain a sales pipeline
  • Hard working and comfortable with a fast pace of work
  • Articulate, intelligent and well presented
  • Experience using sales software such as CRM Systems, Excel, Word, Outlook etc.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional languages – Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Japanese
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas, Renewables, Chemicals and/or Finance sectors
