As we look to capitalize on our current market position as the number one agency in Hertfordshire, selling more homes in the AL postcodes than any other business, we are actively seeking talented Senior Sales Negotiators for our St Albans office.

The successful candidate will be a proactive, energised team player with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Estate Agency industry. Our structure includes separate departments for Administration, Sales Progression, and Accounts. The primary focus will be on building market share in a competitive environment, without the paperwork and administrative negatives sometimes associated with sales roles.

For example, we employ professional viewing guides to enhance the viewing experience, enabling our sales team to generate market appraisal opportunities, build long-lasting relationships, negotiate deals, and support clients throughout their home-moving process.

Your main responsibility will be to generate market appraisals for our valuers and support clients throughout their home move once instructed. Negotiation is central to our approach, and you'll work with intelligent clients to build trusted relationships at every opportunity. We aim for every client to have a positive experience with Ashtons, with peace of mind knowing we are with them every step of their property journey.

Applicant’s Skillset

  • Generating new business by contacting and forging relationships with potential buyers and sellers.
  • Proactively marketing our stock through call outs and marketing strategies.
  • Appraising clients of viewing feedback according to service standards.
  • Reviewing property marketing fortnightly and recommending updates.
  • Ensuring offers are financially evaluated, submitted, and confirmed in writing.
  • Contacting applicants via telephone, email, and post to book viewings and identify opportunities for potential instructions.

Remuneration:

OTE with Commission: £35,000 - £38,500

Hours:

Monday-Friday 8.30am – 6.00pm

1-in-4 Saturdays 9.00am to 5.00pm
