Your Responsibilities May Include

• Delivering high-quality consultancy to operators, leasing companies, infrastructure managers, regulators and government bodies.
• Applying systems engineering methods to tackle complex rail challenges.
• Drawing on Frazer-Nash’s cross-sector expertise to develop innovative solutions.
• Providing technical leadership across diverse projects.
• Mentoring and developing junior engineers.

Current And Recent Projects Include

• Improving fleet reliability
• Advising on standards across the UK and Ireland
• Rolling stock service life assessments
• Strategy development for new rail vehicles
• Dynamic modelling for on-track machines
• Application of the Common Safety Method (CSM RA) for new technologies

The Successful Applicant Will Meet The Following Requirements

• Chartered Engineer with proven rail industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of TSIs, NTSNs and Rail Industry Standards.
• Skilled in systems engineering and translating client needs into technical requirements.

Desirable

• Consultancy or project management experience.
• Knowledge of asset management, maintenance practices and safety methods.
• Experience in dynamic modelling and vehicle gauging.

Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre‑employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
