Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor (Commercial Manager)

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Quantity Surveyor (Commercial Manager) to join our dynamic NMC NE Account team in Perth.

In this role, you will be the primary contact for all commercial matters within your area and provide expert advice and guidance to wider Contract teams and ensure the robust commercial management of subcontractors and supply chain partners including the preparation, review and evaluation of subcontract enquiries, quotations and payments, final accounts and input to dispute resolution.

This role offers a unique opportunity to implement commercial best practices, maximizing value while minimising risk and cost for Amey.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, review their work, and support their professional development.
  • Manage and maintain our relationship with Clients and subcontractors
  • Monitor costs, comparing actual costs against budgeted amounts. Identify cost variances and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.
  • Producing monthly CVR’s
  • Produce quarterly budgets and forecasts.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for Task Orders
