Job summary

A leading housing and care provider is seeking a Senior Project Manager to ensure fire and structural safety of high-risk buildings. In this role, you will manage compliance projects throughout their lifecycle and work closely with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant subject, proven project management experience, and the ability to handle staff management. This role offers a salary of £54,197 to £57,050 per year and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team. This role sits within the Building Safety team who are responsible for ensuring fire and structural safety of Sanctuary’s High Risk Buildings and residents, particularly in light of evolving safety regulations and standards.

As Senior Project Manager you will be managing and coordinating the delivery of the local compliance projects.

This Programme is to support the design and implementation of all processes and procedures to ensure we are meeting the new regulatory requirements. Whilst also embedding a culture of Building Safety across the Group. The role is crucial in safeguarding residents and properties.

The role of Senior Project Manager will include:
  • Delivering local compliance projects throughout the project lifecycle, in support of business objectives.
  • Working within and aiding the development of appropriate tools and good practice processes to support the effective delivery and coordination of business change programmes
  • Delivering improvements in financial performance through the effective delivery of change programmes/projects
  • Providing regular, high quality management information and updates to senior management on programme delivery, escalating issues and decisions as appropriate.
  • Managing project/programme team members including their effective recruitment and on‑going development, to ensure required skilled staff are available to meet business needs.
  • Undertaking analysis of customer needs to identify practical business improvements, working with internal and external stakeholders to scope service and product improvements that meet the current and future needs of customers.
  • Contributing, as appropriate, to special programmes and projects in support of the Group's values and objectives.
Skills and experiences:
  • Degree in relevant subject
  • Proven experience of managing medium to large scale projects/programmes, with an understanding of a full project life cycle
  • Proven experience in working with others to deliver projects, including indirect reports and third party suppliers
  • Some experience of managing staff
  • Occasional travel may be requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential
