Job description
Overview

Senior Product Designer | Full time | UK. Eucalyptus is the company behind Juniper, one of the world’s largest weight management programs combining GLP-1 medication with a tailored nutrition and exercise programme, supported by a multidisciplinary care team.

Our published clinical research demonstrates that our approach increases the likelihood of significant weight loss during treatment with Juniper. Since launching, we’ve grown rapidly to support millions of patients. In the last 12 months we grew our UK patient base, received selective NICE endorsement, and expanded our team from 50 to 200. Globally, revenue grew while cash burn declined, with over $100M raised from global investors. In 2025 we aim to support hundreds of thousands of patients and expand into new conditions, demographics, and geographies. We are building the world’s largest international digital healthcare company.

This role is a rare opportunity to shape the direction of the design function in the UK, with ownership and a broad remit within a high-growth market.

In this role, you will…
  • Lead end-to-end design work for the UK product team – from research to wireframes and final UI, collaborating with the Senior Product Manager and Engineering Manager to design elegant solutions to complex problems
  • Facilitate customer research, including prototype testing, to level up usability and continuously iterate, using patient insights to actively improve features and champion the patient’s voice
  • Contribute to the product vision for the UK product team by envisioning the future of the patient experience and contributing to discovery through research, competitor analysis and data
  • Champion best design practices and ways of working, evangelising design to the growing UK business and contributing to cross-border design and product team collaboration
About you (Who We Are Looking For)

You're a talented Designer with a passion for health and excitement about building our expanding healthcare platform. You enjoy working in dynamic environments, solving complex problems, and creating thoughtful, user-centred design solutions that make a real impact.

Skills & Experience:

  • Product Design Experience (7+ years): You have dedicated product design experience in fast-paced, product-led environments. You’ve owned end-to-end design workflows, created comprehensive design systems, and shipped multiple impactful digital experiences – bonus points if it’s at a B2C company.
  • User Research Expertise: You’ve planned and conducted user interviews, moderated testing sessions, facilitated workshops, and created fidelity prototypes to test assumptions and refine solutions.
  • Evidence-Based Approach: You validate design decisions using competitive analysis, user research, and product data, making compelling cases based on qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Outcome-Driven Design: You design with clear business and patient outcomes in mind, delivering solutions that improve engagement, conversion, or other key metrics.
  • Independent Design Leadership: You drive the design process from discovery to delivery, balancing user needs with business objectives and knowing when to seek input versus making autonomous decisions.
  • Patient-first mindset: You prioritise patient outcomes, translating complex health journeys into intuitive, accessible experiences.
  • Design Craft Excellence: You balance aesthetics with usability and maintain consistent standards across touchpoints.
  • Systems Thinking: You design holistic, scalable components and consider how your work fits within the broader product ecosystem.
  • Collaborative Creation: You thrive in cross-functional environments and communicate design decisions effectively while incorporating feedback.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in consumer technology products with strong engagement focus
  • Experience designing healthcare or wellness products
  • Portfolio featuring both mobile applications and web platforms
  • Deep interest in digital health, especially in women’s health and preventative care
Why join Eucalyptus?
  • Make real impact, fast – We build in the open to learn and iterate quickly, delivering high-quality outcomes and impacting patients’ lives from day one.
  • You’ll be supported to accelerate your career – Regular feedback, bi-annual performance reviews, a professional development budget and leave support to help you level up.
  • You’ll work with others who are incredibly passionate – Autonomy to tackle interesting problems, in a team that cares deeply about patients.
  • Benefits – Employee options, a monthly wellness allowance, a yearly personal development budget and extra leave to up-skill, 25 days holiday + bank holidays with enhanced parental leave, a modern office culture and equipment including a MacBook.

At Eucalyptus, we value individuals from all backgrounds and experiences. When you apply, please let us know of any reasonable adjustments you may need during the interview process.
