EP Commodities, a.s. is a joint-stock company specializing in trading in energy commodities, which mainly involves wholesale transactions with natural gas, electricity, emission allowances, crude oil (both financially), and other products (e.g. dark and spark spreads, options) throughout the European regions. The Company is part of the EPH Group, Energetický a průmyslový holding, a. s., which is a leading European energy group that owns and operates facilities in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, France, Ireland, Netherlands. EP Commodities, a.s., primarily focuses on countries where the EPH Group has its own assets or where liquidity enables effective trading. We are looking for an experienced Senior Power Trading Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power stack modeling, a proven ability to design forecasting models, and experience leading teams. This role involves working closely with quantitative developers to implement models in Python and ensure their accuracy and effectiveness. You will also collaborate across analytics teams, including gas, carbon, and weather teams, to provide unified market insights and actionable trading strategies.
