Job summary

A technology solutions provider in the United Kingdom is looking for a Rework Technician to modify and upgrade PCB assemblies to IPC 610 Class 3 standards. Responsibilities include the removal and replacement of SMT components and ensuring all work meets acceptable workmanship levels and safety regulations. Candidates should have at least 3 years of PCB production experience and relevant qualifications such as GCSE or City & Guilds Electronics. Training in IPC 610 Class 3 is essential. This is a full-time position with set hours.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in PCB production.
• Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
• Hand soldering IPC 610 Class 3 trained.

Responsibilities

• Complete modification, rework, and upgrade of PCB assemblies.
• Removal and replacement of SMT components.
• Ensure all work is completed to specified levels of workmanship.

Skills
