Senior Mammographer: Mobile Breast Screening & Clinics

Job summary

A healthcare provider in Liddington, UK is looking for a qualified Bank Mammographer. This role involves working at both the Breast Centre and mobile units, performing routine breast screenings and specialist mammographic examinations. The successful candidate must have recent mammography experience and be able to handle sensitive patient interactions. Qualifications

• Current registration with the Health Professions Council.
• Certificate in Mammographic practice (or equivalent), or willingness to undertake training.
• In-depth experience of breast imaging.
• Experience of working with distressed or anxious patients.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess each patient and perform specialist mammography.
• Take responsibility for the smooth running of clinics.
• Provide excellent care and address patients' information needs.
• Assist Radiologist with Ultrasound examinations and support procedures.
• Manage digital images and travel to mobile screening units.
