London, Liverpool Street hybrid working 2 days office based per week

Permanent, full (37.5 hpw)

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 pa, based on skills and experience, with brilliant benefits! We cannot offer CoS for this role!

What you’ll do
  • Lead and develop a team of Maintenance Surveyors, to deliver the right output, content and quality services
  • Support customers by solving challenges and improving property standards
  • Manage performance, and provide strategic direction for the surveying team
  • Lead by example across inspections, preparation of specifications, and ensuring repairs standards are met
  • Be the technical expert and lead on complex repairs, damp and mould, disrepair, adaptations and HHSRS
  • Keep track of budgets and influence how we deliver great value.

You have
  • RICS, CIOB accredited Building Surveying degree or equivalent qualification and/or strong experience built up through your working profession
  • A PCA QT level qualification or a willingness to complete this qualification
  • Great knowledge of housing legislation, HHSRS and building compliance
  • Confidence with damp and mould advice and managing complex repairs
  • A self‑starter mindset with care and attention to detail
  • A collaborative way of working and clear, calm communication skills.
The practical bits

You’ll work Monday to Friday.

You’ll manage your own diary, so if you want to take a longer lunch, you can use your flexi time to manage that!

To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage!

You need a Basic DBS check done and we pay for that.
