Senior Legal Assistant – North Bristol

Location: Bristol (Hybrid 3 days office / 2 days remote)

TSR Legal is currently seeking a Senior Legal Assistant to join a reputable and forward‑thinking law firm based in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised individual to provide high‑level legal and administrative support within a busy Private Client team.

Role Purpose

To deliver exceptional administrative and legal support to ensure smooth case management, excellent client care, and efficient team operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, proofread and manage legal documents, correspondence, and court forms.
  • Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with AML and GDPR regulations.
  • Professionally liaise with clients, handling queries and managing appointments.
  • Coordinate with external parties such as courts, experts and intermediaries to support case progression.
  • Assist with drafting letters of engagement and overseeing client onboarding processes.
  • Support business development initiatives, including networking and firm events.
  • Confidently use legal technology including Microsoft Office, Adobe and case management systems.

  • Experience posting on social media platforms and using AI tools.
Experience Required
  • Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or similar legal support role.
  • Familiarity with Private Client work (Family, Wills, Estate Administration, Contentious Probate, etc.).
  • Strong client‑facing skills with empathy and professionalism.
