Experian Global Security Office are looking for an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) expert to serve as the primary liaison between the IAM organization and the Cyber Fusion Center (CFC). This critical, senior-level individual contributor will integrate IAM principles and controls into our security operations and incident response framework.

You will be a technical expert with knowledge of the threat environment from the perspective of identity and access management. You will use an intimate understanding of the existing IAM capabilities to provide expert guidance and lead efforts to evaluate and resolve account access and privilege issues. As an important member of the IAM Governance organization, you will use real-world threat intelligence and operational insights to inform and mature our IAM policies, standards, and controls. You will partner with CFC analysts, threat hunters, and incident responders to provide subject matter expertise during active investigations and to strengthen our security posture.

This is a hybrid, Nottingham-based role reporting to the Head of Global Security Administration and Assurance.

Responsibilities
  • Be a primary contact for the CFC for all IAM-related inquiries during security investigations, incidents, and potential breaches.
  • Participate in incident response "war rooms" and technical bridges to provide real-time IAM expertise and analysis.
  • Coordinate and orchestrate response activities across all IAM functions—including Identity Governance (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Authentication, and IAM Governance—to ensure swift remediation.
  • Assist the CFC in identifying and containing threats by directing IAM-related actions, such as account suspension, privilege revocation, session termination, and enforcement of step-up authentication.
  • Attend daily CFC operational meetings. At these meetings, share updates on the latest developments and trends in the threat environment specific to IAM. Also, discuss any alerting that we are monitoring that is a potential Indicator of Compromise (IOC).
  • Develop and refine IAM-centric detection use cases and queries for security monitoring systems (e.g., SIEM, UEBA) in partnership with the CFC.
  • IAM Governance & Risk Integration:
    • Use insights from CFC engagements and threat intelligence to help and inform IAM policies, ensuring they are practical and address current threats.
    • Provide subject matter expertise to inform the design and implementation of new IAM controls across the enterprise.
    • Support the risk-based prioritization for First Line of Defense (LOD1) remediation efforts by providing context on active threats and identity-related vulnerabilities.
  • Process Integration & Improvement:
    • Maintain a deep, intimate understanding of our current IAM capabilities, their service levels, and their limitations to inform CFC investigations and strategies.
    • Conduct post-incident reviews and contribute IAM-specific findings to root cause analysis reports.
  • Experience in Information Security with a focus directly on Identity & Access Management.
  • Deep, hands‑on knowledge of core IAM domains (IGA, PAM, Authentication and Authorization)
  • Experience of the modern threat landscape is crucial, especially as it relates to identity. This includes common identity-based attack vectors, TTPs, and threat actors, such as credential theft, lateral movement, privilege escalation, and MFA bypass techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud identity platforms and security models (AWS IAM, Azure Active Directory, Google Cloud IAM).
  • Experience with IAM governance principles, including policy/standard development and control design.
  • Experience working with security operations, incident response, or threat intelligence teams.
Benefits
  • Flexible work environment with hybrid working.
  • Great compensation package and discretionary bonus plan.
  • Core benefits include pension, Bupa healthcare, share‑save scheme and more.
  • 25 days annual leave with 8 bank holidays and 3 volunteering days. You can purchase additional annual leave.
