What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading and managing Phase I and Phase II ground investigations – from design and procurement to supervision and reporting.
  • Overseeing all aspects of geo‑environmental project delivery, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline expectations are met.
  • Coordinating remediation activities and working closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Compiling desk studies, scheduling laboratory testing, and analysing data to drive robust outcomes.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a supportive team environment.
  • Keeping ahead of industry trends and integrating innovative solutions into our projects.
What You’ll Bring
  • A degree in Environmental Sciences, Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Geology, or related field (MSc preferred).
  • Chartered status or working towards it with a recognised professional institution.
  • A valid CSCS card (essential for site work).
  • At least five years’ experience in geo‑environmental consultancy.
  • Strong technical expertise in ground investigation, soil/rock logging (BS5930 and Eurocode 7), and lab analysis.
  • Excellent report writing, data analysis, and IT skills.
  • A proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • A collaborative, solution-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm, ambition, and a proactive approach to professional growth.
