Where will you be working?

At M Group Water we help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will join BGEN - one of the UK\'s largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear and food and beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions.

What will you be doing?

Join us on-site as part of a dynamic Framework agreement, supporting around 40 varied projects each year. You’ll juggle multiple projects at different stages, producing reports, scopes of work, concept and detailed designs. Your input will help deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high standards. You’ll create design drawings for power, lighting, and fire safety systems, plus electrical O&M models. Collaboration is key—you’ll liaise closely with client engineers to ensure smooth delivery. What you'll bring
  • Role based on a pharmaceutical site—HORUS security check required
  • 5+ years’ experience in electrical design for pharma projects
  • HNC or engineering degree preferred
  • Professional membership desirable
  • Skilled in LV distribution, lighting, fire safety, security, cabling systems
  • Knowledge of CDM 2015 and UK pharma construction projects
  • Collaborative team player, confident liaising with clients
  • Produces 2D/3D designs, layouts, and routing diagrams
  • Proficient in AutoCAD LT, Relux/Dialux, Trimble, Navisworks; Revit a plus
