Overview

Senior Digital Construction Manager - Tier 1. PROGRESS YOUR CAREER INTO A LEADERSHIP ROLE WITH ONE OF THE VERY BEST, DIGITALLY COMMITTED TIER 1 CONTRACTORS.

The Opportunity

This senior digital construction manager role within our digital construction function focuses on enabling the use of appropriate tools and technologies to support project delivery from inception to in use.

You will be aware of the information management process across projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and helping to deliver against client requirements.

The role will report ongoing progress and highlight any risk to the project team and / or their line manager to ensure support is given to achieve accelerated and consistent adoption of digital construction techniques.

The Role

The Main responsibilities of the Senior Digital Construction Manager will be:

  • Monitor the completion of our IM Gateway forms across all tenders to fulfil assurance procedures relating to early assessment of design team capability and internal resource considerations.
  • Responsible for ensuring Exchange Information Requirements and Asset Information Requirements are delivered across relevant project(s).
  • Responsible for ensuring the use of the common data environment to manage, share and exchange information, adhering to ISO 19650 across relevant projects.
  • Responsible for support and audit of the project team to ensure standards, methods and procedures using specified software / workflows are in use.
  • Share best practice with Head of Digital Construction and work on continued improvement of PLM resources.
  • Responsible for promoting digital strategies that are implemented across the business and projects and provide feedback to Head of Digital Construction to ensure progress is being made and commitment to documentation is being observed.
  • Monitor and manage software utilisation and maturity across region.
  • Responsible for provision of case studies relating to the projects across region.
  • Act as direct point of contact for bid teams, supporting PQQs and ITT submissions.
  • Ensure supply chain capabilities assessments are completed scored for the project.
  • Oversee consistent use of the BIM Execution Plan and other documents that have been produced for the project(s).
  • Accountable for contributing to monthly reports to identify and measure digital implementation within the business unit and across projects.
  • Collaborate with Head of Digital Construction to support the digital strategy through feedback.
  • Responsible for raising awareness and the profile of digital implementation within the business unit/ project functional departments including business development, work winning, estimating, design management, building services, commercial, planning, and operational.
  • Responsible for career development, coaching, and mentoring of direct and indirect reports.
  • Lead aspects of our ISO 19650 audit process through presentation of project execution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal / external stakeholders to facilitate strategic initiatives and priorities.
Your Profile

You will have:

  • Relevant BIM Qualifications/Courses
  • Experience implementing BIM within the construction industry, preferably with experience of government projects and departments.
  • Working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Solibri, Viewpoint 4 Projects and COBie
  • The ability to travel between sites around the country
  • A natural affinity for being ambitious, dynamic and a strong team player
