A leading NHS trust in London is seeking a full-time post at ST3+ level in Respiratory Medicine, focusing on the care of respiratory patients. While not a formal training position, the role offers valuable experience and educational opportunities. Ideal for those with IMT experience looking to progress in their specialty training. Full-time post at ST3+ level in Respiratory Medicine at the North Middlesex University Hospital site of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. Six‑month fixed term from October 2025 to April 2026.
The post focuses on supporting the in‑patient and outpatient care of respiratory patients as part of a team of respiratory specialty trainees. It is suitable for a trainee with IMT experience who wishes to gain more experience in respiratory medicine and provides excellent preparation for an application for respiratory medicine specialty training. Although not a recognised training post, the vacancy exists due to no trainee being allocated for this period. The post holder will access similar educational opportunities within the hospital as training registrars and may undertake educational, academic or quality improvement projects whilst in post.
