Qualifications

  • At least 2 years’ experience working with children with emotional/mental health needs.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

  • Be a role model and mentor for young people.
  • Support and guide your team with on-call duties.
  • Carry out audits to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Work closely with the Registered Manager.
  • Ensure safeguarding and compliance with regulations.

Skills

At least 2 years’ experience working with children with emotional/mental health needs
Excellent communication skills
Strong understanding of safeguarding
Ability to stay calm under pressure
Flexible and adaptable team player

Education

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

Tools

Full UK driving licence for manual vehicles
