Are you an experienced care professional with a background in leadership? Ready to start the new year with purpose?

At CareRight, we’re looking for a Senior Care Supervisor to lead, inspire, and support a dedicated team of carers delivering truly person-centred care across Plymouth and the surrounding areas.

This is more than a supervisory role, it’s your chance to shape the future of our growing homecare service, mentor a passionate team, and set the standard for compassionate, high-quality care in the community. Make 2026 the year you take your career forward.

The Role

As a Senior Care Supervisor, you’ll manage a small care team (or “pod”), combining hands-on care with supervisory and leadership responsibilities.

Working closely with clients, families, health professionals, and the wider CareRight team, you’ll ensure consistent care quality, regulatory compliance, and a positive, supported working environment for your carers.

You’ll play a key role in:
  • Leading and mentoring a team
  • Supporting the out-of-hours service through participation in the on-call rota
  • Completing care plan assessments and regular reviews
  • Leading shadow shifts for new carers and carrying out care observations
  • Monitoring compliance and updating care management software
  • Liaising with healthcare professionals and client families to ensure continuity of care
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven leadership experience within a care setting
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • A compassionate, client-focused approach
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Plymouth and nearby areas
  • Flexibility to provide guidance and support when required
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary: Up to £32,000 per year, plus overtime and bonus opportunities
  • 28 days paid holiday
  • Company car (as agreed), mobile phone, laptop, and uniform
  • Paid travel time and mileage allowance
  • Employee incentives, team events, and clear career progression pathways
  • A structured 40-hour workweek, balanced between leadership duties and care delivery
Why Join CareRight in 2026?

We’re not just a care provider, we’re a team with a clear mission: to raise the standard of homecare. As we expand our services across Plymouth and surrounding communities, this role offers real development opportunities and the chance to make a meaningful difference every single day.

If you’re ready to lead with empathy, drive quality, and grow with a forward-thinking organisation, 2026 could be your year to shine.
