DAYS – 39 hours a week (3 1/2 x 8am‑8pm, inc alternative weekends). £16.39/hr. Permanent contract.

The home has recently undergone a major refurbishment. You will be joining a fantastic group of care homes, rated at Good overall by the CQC, whose person‑centred approach to care relies on the dedication and passion of our employees, who we expect to go the extra mile to improve the home experience and generate a relaxed and informal community within our homes.

The care home is a beautiful 60‑bed, modern home. You will be tasked with assisting with the resident’s care plan, supervising the caring team, delivering the highest standards of personalised care to residents. Ensure that at all time residents are treated with respect and dignity, and that individuals’ rights to privacy, dignity, independence and choice are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide the highest level of personal care and attention to residents, following individual care plans carefully and ensuring that all contact is polite, friendly, warm and supportive.
  • To act as a key worker for a named group of residents, ensuring that these responsibilities are carried out in full (as defined in the training manual).
  • To participate in the formulation and maintenance of individual care plans for each resident and administer medication to residents as prescribed, accurately maintaining appropriate records for both.
Person specification
  • NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care as a minimum (essential, must be a UK qualification)
