A national awarding body in Scotland is seeking a Senior Business Accountant to enhance financial management within the organization. You will lead improvements in finance processes and develop robust financial controls and reporting. The ideal candidate has a financial degree and experience as a qualified accountant. We are looking for a senior business accountant to work within the Finance team. This is a fixed-term post until 31 January 2027.
As a senior business accountant, you will lead the improvement of financial management within the directorate and influence the development of first‑class financial controls and reporting. To do this you must have experience in the following specific duties:

Applicants, as a minimum, need to be educated to SCQF Level 9 (degree) ideally in a financial discipline and be a qualified accountant associated with one of the CCAB accounting bodies or undertaking the qualification and in the final examination phase towards completion.
