This pivotal role will shape the future of sustainable energy delivery across a diverse portfolio of public and commercial sectors.

Team Overview:

The Bids department plays a vital role in driving business growth by securing new projects across the renewables and MEP sectors. Our team collaborates closely with engineering, commercial, and project delivery teams to prepare high‑quality, competitive proposals for a wide range of sustainable energy and infrastructure solutions. With a focus on precision, strategy, and innovation, the department ensures each submission aligns with client needs, industry standards, and our company’s commitment to sustainability.

Role Overview:

This role is suited to an experienced Bid Coordinator ready to take on greater responsibility within the bids and proposals function. The Senior Bid Coordinator will lead bid administration and coordination activities, support the development and review of bid content, and work closely with internal stakeholders to manage submissions in a fast‑paced environment. The position offers the opportunity to mentor junior team members, contribute to continuous improvement of bid processes, and play a key role in delivering high‑quality, competitive submissions.

Hours | Monday‑Thursday 8am‑5pm and Friday 8am‑3pm

Responsible to | Head of Bids

Key Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of drafting high‑quality, client‑focused bid content including CVs, case studies/project profiles, and standard responses.
  • Proactively interview subject matter experts (SMEs) across technical, operational, commercial, legal, HR, finance, and delivery teams to close content gaps and extract compelling, benefit‑led narratives.
  • Rewrite, restructure, and elevate, and proofread contributions from multiple stakeholders to produce consistent, persuasive, and on‑brand bid documents.
  • Continually develop and maintain a strong internal network of SMEs to ensure fast access to up‑to‑date technical and operational knowledge.
  • Identify, adapt, and tailor existing bid library content to meet specific tender requirements while maintaining version control and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and manage the full bid response timeline, chasing inputs and delivering fully compliant, high‑scoring submissions on or ahead of deadline.
  • Own the population and ongoing improvement of the Bid Content Library (including post‑submission aftercare and lessons‑learnt updates).
  • Analyse client debriefs/feedback scores and implement measurable improvements into future bids.
  • Support bid strategy and storyboarding sessions, contributing win themes and proof points.
  • Maintain an up‑to‑date understanding of our service offerings, recent project wins, and industry trends, and competitor positioning.
