The Opportunity

We are currently working with a leading property consultancy in Central London who are looking to strengthen their established planning team with the addition of enthusiastic and driven Town Planners at Senior to Associate level.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing planning team, delivering a wide range of projects across commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments. The successful candidates will play a key role in shaping high-quality, sustainable developments in one of the UK’s most dynamic markets.

The Role

  • Managing and delivering planning applications, negotiations, and appeals across a variety of sectors.
  • Supporting clients through the planning process and providing clear, practical advice.
  • Working collaboratively with design teams, developers, and local authorities.
  • Engaging in public consultation and presenting proposals to stakeholders.
  • Contributing fresh ideas and energy to a forward-thinking planning team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Previous private sector planning experience is essential, ideally within commercial, residential, or mixed-use schemes.
  • Chartership: Ideally you are a Chartered Member of the RTPI, or currently on the pathway to becoming chartered.
  • Approach: Enthusiastic, proactive, and collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Business Development: Some exposure to business development is desirable but not essential — the role is focused on delivery and client support.
